Stories of Maun

Maun – Place of Reeds

About Maun

Welcome to Maun, The Place of Reeds.

Maun is the administrative centre of the North West District in Botswana, and one of the fastest growing villages in the country. However, Maun is better known as the Gateway to the Okavango Delta, the world famous inland delta that “never meets the sea”.

Stories of Maun is just a simple and hopefully fun (you’ll be the judge of that) blog and website about Maun. The main component of this site is the blog, read it if you want to learn more about Maun.

Additionally, please do check out the Scenes of Maun component, and get a glimpse of Maun through the lens.
